About Terror on the Fox

Terror on the Fox is a collaboration between Bad Boys Scenic Design, The Green Bay Preble Optimists and The National Railroad Museum.

The Green Bay Preble Optimists est. 1964

Motto: Friend of youth

The Optimist club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fundraising for youth activities in the community. Charities include Cerebral Palsy, The Children’s Museum, Winners Wear Helmets, The Boys and Girls Club of America, Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Many local high school and youth groups have also profited by the fundraising efforts of the Optimist club.

The National Railroad Museum est. 1956

Recognized as a National Museum by an act of congress in 1958. The museum attracts visitors from across the United States seeking fun for the family and a chance to learn more about our great history in railroading. Each year the National Railroad Museum hosts “Terror on the Fox”, one of three haunted house attractions in the United States to incorporate an actual passenger train as part of the event experience.

Bad Boys Scenic Design est. 1980

Bad Boys Scenic Design is a partnership comprised of local professional designers responsible for the vision, construction, staffing and operation of “Terror on the Fox”, one of the largest haunted house attractions in the Mid-west. Members of BBSD perform at charity events such as the Cerebral Palsy Fundraising Marathon. One very popular annual event is Kid’s Day at the Haunted House in which participants gain admission in exchange for canned goods collected for local shelters and food pantries.
